Small Catholic Church in Haiti
The Fondazione Francesca Rava has decided to build a small Catholic
Church in Haiti., The church will be open to interreligious dialogue and
intended to accommodate the procession that weekly brings to Titanyen, a
bare hill located a few kilometres to the north of Port-au-Prince, the
bodies of unnamed children collected from the mortuaries of the city.
The bodies will find in this place an adequate burial ritual and the
dignity that death must always deserve.
The Project is being developed by
two
architects: Angelo Lorenzi,
Yoram Ortona each one of them belonging to one of the
two
monotheistic religions.
Client: Francesca Rava Fondation
